Story mode is good - Breakdown expands on it. If you happen to like it you'll probably want the sequel too with the plague heart changes which are being tested right now on the public beta. The way the game uses the actual time for simulating events when not playing is rather unique. Third person action mixed with some RPG and base building elements. I'd say it's still worth a go at sale price.
